“Grace and peace in Jesus’ name. My name is Nathan and I’m living in UK. In 2023, God prompted my heart to volunteer with God’s Heart TV. By His grace, I began volunteering in September of that year. At the time, I was employed but deeply unhappy with my job for several reasons. It was far from home and I was working as a Level 3 despite being qualified as a Level 6. I felt frustrated but remained grateful to God for having any job at all. Since graduating, I had changed jobs five times in three years, unable to find the right place to settle. I had also been hoping for career progression but to no avail. After joining as a volunteer, I had it in my heart that I wanted a job closer to home and one that offered weekends off so that I would be available for volunteering whenever required. At that time, my current shifts often overlapped into weekends, making it challenging.
“Just four months after starting at Gods’ Heart TV, I received an unexpected call from an agency I hadn’t contacted in a long time. They offered me a job opportunity near my home with better pay than my current position. I hadn’t even applied for this job! During the Zoom interview, I saw the hand of God at work. Despite not preparing or feeling enthusiastic due to my exhaustion from changing jobs, the managers seemed eager to have me. Instead of me convincing them, they were convincing me to join their company. They even promised career progression, making me feel valued and wanted in a way I had never experienced before. I accepted the job and started on January 3, 2024. Within a year, I have been promoted to Production Lead, and I recently signed the contract. Even during the promotion, the director apologised for the delay, but I believe it was God’s plan to give me time to gain more experience and familiarise myself with the projects and the team. I am deeply grateful to God for this breakthrough. I also thank God’s Heart TV for giving me the opportunity to serve as a volunteer, which I believe was part of God’s plan for opening this door. Additionally, I thank Brother Chris for his prayers and for encouraging us to seek God’s heart, helping us to see life clearly. All glory to God!”
