“Grace and peace to you. My name is Kelvin from Zambia. Indeed, all things are possible with God. I don’t even know where to start but God has been so Good and merciful to me. I’m someone who had struggled with alcohol since early 2020. The alcohol drinking led to feelings of depression, lust and I would have nightmares where I would be running away from animals in the dreams. I would also see myself having sex in dreams. I came across God’s Heart TV and Brother Chris early in 2024 and I started to watch more videos. So, I started sending prayer requests and joining Interactive Prayer Services on Zoom and YouTube.
“People of God, I did not see the hand of God until I started seeking the Kingdom of God first as Matthew 6:33 says. And Brother Chris once said, ‘If you are only seeking God for what you can get from Him, then you are not ready for what you are seeking’. So, I started having a personal relationship with Jesus by reading the Bible, worshipping and praying. I deleted all secular music and separated myself from certain friends and places as I continued to join the Interactive Prayers with Brother Chris. To the glory of God, my whole life has been turned around! I’m now a new person in Christ. It has been several months without drinking alcohol and I no longer have any urge for alcohol.
“God has given me victory that even in my dreams when I sleep, I am saying no to alcohol and I’m no longer running away from things or seeing women in my dreams. By God’s grace, I was even able to fast for three days for the first time. And the last two Interactive Prayer Services I joined have blessed me even more! I was opportune to join on April 5 and was invited again on April 19 for the Encouragement Service on Zoom. People of God, three days after the Encouragement Service, I was called by the company that I was interning for and they told me that my internship renewal application was approved for another term. This was after I had been home for almost three months. By God’s grace, I am to report next week. All glory to God! He is the Breaker of chains. I praise God for what He has done for me. Truly, the best is yet to come. Thank You, Jesus!”
