“Greetings, people of God. My name is Miriam from Zimbabwe. I would like to thank God for He has used the prayers of His servant Brother Chris to reach our family. Through God’s Heart TV, l learned that l should acknowledge God in everything that He does for me. I joined several Interactive Prayer Services through Zoom last year in 2024. The reason l sent a prayer request was that my husband and I needed a financial breakthrough. There were times l would say to myself, ‘Is this possible for us?’ – since there was no sign of how we could get out of our situation. We had accrued so many debts and we were no longer able to pay them back. I strained some of our relationships with those we owed the money. People of God, in December 2024, after praying with Brother Chris, my husband received an appointment letter to go and work in Sudan as a team leader of the group for three months up to March 2025. God came through for us when we needed financial breakthrough to pay back our debts and to send our children back to school.
“In only one month, we were able to pay back our debts and even accomplished some small projects which we had listed down. I thank the Almighty God for this financial breakthrough. I used to look at our situation in a fleshly way and ask how God would establish us. Because I know when some people ask for prayers, they have references of pending appointments, applications or missed opportunities. In our case, we just asked God to create opportunities that would uplift us. We had no visible opportunities, promotions or pending applications – except asking God to locate us in His mercy. Also, in October last year, by the grace of God, l graduated with a first-class degree in Environmental Health. During the Interactive Prayer Services, I had been asking God for academic breakthrough. Because of fees arrears at the university, l failed to view my results in time and only discovered one day before the graduation ceremony that l obtained a first-class degree! Now l can happily say that better is not Good enough; the best is always yet to come. Thank You, Lord. l am really grateful!”
