“Grace and peace to you all. My name is Theresa from Zambia and I would like to share my testimony regarding the goodness of God in my life. For the past three years, I struggled with unemployment despite holding a degree from a reputable university. My efforts to secure a job in both public and private sectors were met with repeated rejections, which placed a significant financial strain on my parents and sister, who were my primary sources of support. During this time, I felt utterly useless and helpless, unable to contribute financially to my family. In an attempt to help me find employment, my parents even sought assistance from relatives and friends, but these efforts yielded no results. It became clear to me that my situation was beyond human intervention, leading me to surrender my burdens to God Almighty. In late 2023, my brother introduced me to God’s Heart TV and submitted a prayer request for breakthrough in our family. We received an invitation to participate in the Interactive Prayer Service through Zoom, where Brother Chris prayed for us.
“Although I did not physically manifest during the prayer session, I found peace in knowing that my situation was in God’s hands and that He would provide the job meant for me at the right time. On February 2, 2024, I received a call instructing me to pick up my employment letter from the Public Service Management Division, the government body responsible for human resource management in Zambia. I had faith that God would provide a job, but I was surprised by how quickly it materialised! Upon collecting the letter, I learned that the initial appointment had been offered to someone else who declined the position, allowing my name to be selected as their replacement. I can genuinely say that Jesus did what no one else could do for me, and I am immensely grateful.
“I can also testify that my spiritual life is improving more and more every day. There were times when I would go for days without reading the Bible but now, I read my Bible and meditate on it every day. I also used to struggle with anxiety and negative thoughts, but by the grace of God, I have found calmness and the ability to trust Him to work everything out for my good. My advice to people going through different challenges is to always run to God, seek Jesus and He will never disappoint you.”
