“Blessings, beloved brothers and sisters in Christ from all over the world. My name is Sharon. I am from Honduras and two years ago, I emigrated from my country to Argentina with my husband. Since last year, I connected many times by Zoom to the Interactive Prayer Services with Brother Chris. One of my main prayer requests was about finding a job in the banking sector. It was my dream to be able to work in that field in Argentina. The people around me told me that it was complicated to find a job in that field because usually you could only get one with someone else’s recommendation. As I am foreigner, it was more difficult to find someone who could help me and the country was also going through financial challenges. In other words, there were many human factors against me.
“But I clung to God and sought His face. I kept looking for Him fervently and I gave Him my heart completely. Through joining the Interactive Prayers, my life changed completely – though I did not immediately receive what I wanted or desired ‘humanly’. Last December 2024, I was contacted by a lady that I did not know in a particular company. I was not even looking for job in this company since I was not aware they were looking for someone. The lady was very interested in me and in my professional experience. Please note that in my country Honduras, I had experience in banking and loans.
“When the lady interviewed me, it was as if she really wanted me to be part of the team in this company. So, she passed on my CV to the company and they began the process of interviews directly. From day one, this company treated me as if I was the best. However, we were three candidates for this job vacancy. After the first interview, they called me for a second interview. I had so much peace and asked the Holy Spirit that He would speak for me at all times. After that second interview, they told me that they had to make a decision and they would notify me in the course of the week. That same afternoon, they told me that I was the one they selected and they made me a wonderful job proposal. I finally signed the contract on February 3, 2025, which was my first day of work!
“I testify about this to the honour and glory of God, my Father. When He gives the yes, nothing can stop it! I want to encourage many women who are going through similar situations or young people who are tired and unable to see hope and to all the migrants in the world – there is hope; Jesus is our hope. When we surrender our heart completely to Him and we seek His presence to have that Father-and-child relationship, He makes our soul prosper and adds the rest – whether it is a job, at home or the solution to any situation we go through in our daily life.
