“My name is Chama, a Zambian student studying in Russia and I am in my second year. When I was still in my first year, I got pregnant and I thought my life was over. I felt so defiled, given the fact that I only knew the person I got pregnant for less than a month, he was not from my country and we lived in different cities. When I discovered I was pregnant, I was depressed and wanted to abort the baby. But I was also scared that something might go wrong. I sent a prayer request to God’s Heart TV, praying for God’s mercy and favour. I believed in my heart that God would make a way out for me. After joining the Interactive Prayer Service, I felt so much at peace. I was not worried, scared or depressed. I was just at peace and I knew God would see me through, so l decided not to abort the baby. By God’s grace, the father of my baby and I went down to Africa to see my parents.

“When I came back to Russia, I really saw God’s mercy and favour because the pregnancy went so well. I didn’t fall sick. I was so strong to the point that the week before my delivery, I was still going for classes and I was fit. My friends were all surprised, knowing how pregnancy can be so complicated. I had a lot of schoolwork and field trips as well but I was up to date. When the time to deliver came, there was a challenge as my cervix was tight. They eventually advised me to go for an operation. Although I was initially scared and worried, the operation was successful. Not only did they deliver my baby, they also discovered that I had a big cyst on my ovaries, which they were able to remove. I thank God my baby was born so healthy and strong. I also thank God for the operation because without it, they would not have removed the cyst. Indeed, what God cannot do doesn’t exist! My word of advice is to make God your everything. We really don’t know how much we need God each day and that’s what kills our spiritual life. Make quality time for God and live in His Word; that is where we are safe. I thank God for Brother Chris and his family. May God continue to bless and strengthen you all in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.”
