I found out I was pregnant at seven months because of the fibroids that took up most of the space. This meant that I started my antenatal care late and had only attended twice. Before I could attend the third time, I was booked for an operation because of complications with the pregnancy. Due to multiple fibroids and a breech pregnancy, I was booked for an emergency C-section at 37 weeks because the scan showed there was foetal growth restriction. The following day, January 7, 2026, I went in for the operation, and whilst in the theatre room, my BP kept dropping, but I kept on believing that my baby would come out without any health complications. After the delivery, my baby was diagnosed with respiratory foetal distress and was taken to the neonatal intensive care unit, where he stayed for three days. I kept joining the Interactive Prayer Services. His recovery was very quick – we were discharged from the hospital and the baby is very strong and healthy, without any health problems.
