“Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. My name is Marea from Botswana. I would like to testify about the goodness of God. In January 2023, I was diagnosed with postpartum depression and my blood pressure was too high. It was difficult for me to give love to my new born baby because of this condition. I was going for check-ups every week to check my blood pressure and it kept on going higher until I was referred to a psychologist for counselling – but there was no change. At that time, my husband stopped going to church and started drinking. Even when he was going to work the following day, he would drink non-stop. It was painful for me and I didn’t have peace at all for ten months.
By the grace of God, I received the Interactive Prayer with Brother Chris on 2nd December. That day my husband asked me what I was doing and he told me he was interested in joining me in prayer. We prayed together as a family and I asked God to deliver him from alcoholism. That same week, my husband told me he is regretting drinking alcohol and wants to quit. That was the end of it! He is delivered and I was also healed from depression and high blood pressure. I now live in peace with my husband. It’s like we met yesterday. I would like to encourage someone that God is faithful. He is our Healer, our Comforter and the Prince of Peace. Hallelujah!”
