“Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. My name is Keaobaka from Molepolole, Botswana. I discovered God’s Heart TV through Facebook in 2023, and I started following the ministry on Facebook, YouTube, and the WhatsApp channel. I had always enjoyed watching Brother Chris on Emmanuel TV. His prayers, messages, and actions filled me with excitement and faith, so when I found his page and saw that the ministry was active, I was truly happy. In September 2023, I submitted my first prayer request for a hospital job interview, and by God’s grace, I was offered the job! It was a one-year contract, and I was so thankful. But in 2024, during that year of employment, I started to drift away from God. I stopped praying, I stopped going to church, and I didn’t read my Bible. I began living carelessly – going to clubs, mismanaging my salary, and indulging in things I now regret. I thought I was living my best life, but I was slowly moving away from my foundation.
“When my contract ended in November 2024, I found myself jobless, broke, and with nothing to show for it. From December 2024, I faced unemployment. I had no savings, no plan, and I was forced to move back home. This brought deep frustration, anxiety, and overthinking. I realised I had been wasting the opportunities God gave me. It felt like I had entered a season of character development, where God was humbling me and calling me back. In April 2025, I submitted another prayer request to God’s Heart TV, asking for restoration and peace of mind. On May 3, I joined the Interactive Prayer Service, and I truly felt peace, inner healing, and spiritual renewal. I had started experiencing disturbing dreams of a spiritual husband – a man coming to me in my sleep. This worried me, but I kept praying and trusting God. And I testify that those attacks stopped. The anger, bitterness, and heaviness I used to feel left me completely. I started having peaceful, beautiful dreams, and I could sleep freely again.
“Later in May, I watched Baby Josiah’s dedication on Facebook, and on that very same day, I received a financial breakthrough that lifted my spirit and reminded me that God still hears me. I submitted another prayer request on June 7th, and again I experienced peace and restoration. I truly believe God is still working in me and for me. I now walk in hope, knowing that better is not good enough – the BEST is yet to come! My encouragement to others – if you’ve made mistakes, if you’ve drifted, if life humbled you — know that God is still waiting for you with open arms. No matter how far you’ve gone, He is ready to restore, heal, and guide you. ‘The LORD is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’ – Psalm 34:18. ‘Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame’. – Psalm 34:5.
