“My name is Tapiwanashe, and I’m a Zimbabwean residing in South Africa, where I’ve been pursuing my university studies. Since 2022, I’ve been a follower of Brother Chris and have attended the Interactive Prayer Services every first Saturday of the month whenever possible. The teachings on seeking God’s heart have had a profound impact on me, and I’ve tried to live by those principles throughout my education. After completing my studies in November 2024, I graduated with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in May 2025. Earlier, in March, I had submitted a prayer request to God’s Heart TV, seeking employment. As a foreigner in South Africa, I knew it wouldn’t be easy to land a job in the engineering sector, especially without experience. So, I decided to pursue my master’s degree while job hunting. A friend shared a LinkedIn job posting for a cost estimator, which required only a high school diploma. I applied, thinking it would be a temporary opportunity to earn some money. To my surprise, I passed the first interview and was invited for a second round. During the second interview, they mentioned that I was overqualified for the cost estimator role, given my master’s background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. They offered me a choice between the cost estimator position and an engineering role, and I opted for the latter. The interview process was surprisingly smooth, with minimal questions asked. A week later, I received the news that I’d been accepted as an engineering trainee which is a first for the company. I’m humbled to admit that I’m learning from them, and I’m grateful for this opportunity. It’s a testament to God’s provision in my life, and I’m thankful for His favour.”
