“Grace and peace to you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. My name is Nelson and I’m based in UK. I would like to share a testimony of the goodness of God and how He used His servant, Brother Chris, to bring restoration, peace, and divine order to my home, family, and marriage. In 2024, my partner and I had a major disagreement concerning the purchase of a property. This matter was very dear to me, and I had made up my mind to handle it in a particular way. However, I decided to seek the Lord’s direction and reached out to Brother Chris to understand God’s heart on the issue. During that period, I prayed earnestly and even fasted, asking that God’s will would align with mine – because, in my own understanding, I believed my decision was the right one.
“A few days later, Brother Chris called me. To my amazement, the very first words he spoke reflected exactly what was already in my heart, which immediately gave me peace – not peace about having my way, but peace to accept God’s will, even if it went against my own desires. Indeed, what the Lord revealed through His servant was the very opposite of what I had planned to do. During our conversation, Brother Chris also asked about my marital life. I explained that although my partner and I had a son together, we were not yet married. He encouraged me to take the proper steps before God and get married, honouring Him in our union. I submitted to God’s leading and obeyed both instructions: I changed my approach regarding the property and made the decision to formalise our marriage.
“From the moment I accepted that counsel, a remarkable transformation began in our relationship – even before we officially got married. Previously, we often found ourselves in disagreement over small matters, but now we see each other differently. My wife often says that I have changed, and I feel the same about her. Our disagreements no longer create division; instead, they lead to deeper understanding, love, and unity. By the grace of God, we got married in August, and the very issue concerning the property – which had initially caused our disagreement – has now been completely resolved. Many other family matters that once brought tension have also been settled in peace. I give all glory and honour to God Almighty for using His servant, Brother Chris, to bring healing, order, and restoration into our home. To God alone be the glory!”
