I want to give God the glory for what He has done in my life, and to say thank you for the life of Brother Chris and the God’s Heart TV team. I was battling with the spirit of masturbation. It all started in 2012 when I was in Grade 10. I thought it was a normal thing to do, and I kept doing it until I grew older. I started seeing how it affected my life; nothing was moving. My school performance was nothing to write home about.
“Then, in 2024, I came across God’s Heart TV and submitted my prayer request. A few days later, I received an email to join the Interactive Prayer Service with Brother Chris. I joined in January. Before I joined, I was a bitter person who battled with depression because of masturbation, and I was even chased out of school. This caused a lot of hurt in my heart. But after that day we prayed, I felt a kind of peace that I had never felt in a long time. I thought I was delivered from that bad habit, but it did not last. Every time I got upset or something did not go my way, I would always find myself masturbating.
“In August 2025, I was going to write my exams, so I submitted another prayer request to God’s Heart TV in July. To God’s glory, I received an email to join the Interactive Prayer Service. My prayer was for God to help me with my exams, but God answered another prayer – the one I thought was impossible to stop. On August 2, I joined the service while I was travelling to write my exams. While prayers were ongoing, I felt some things moving in my body. From that day until now, I have never masturbated. I am free from that evil spirit and I feel so much lighter. I would like to encourage anyone passing through something I passed through or any challenges: please do not give up. Keep seeking God, and He will definitely answer your prayers. Amen.”
