“Good morning, God’s Heart TV and Brother Chris. My name is Gabriel from Gaborone, Botswana. Let me first take this time to thank Brother Chris for the divine mission God gave him. Thank you, sir, for your unending prayers and words of encouragement. To the team, thank you for supporting this divine movement of God. My testimony is about freedom from the spirit of masturbation and pornography. It all started when I was young, at my primary school age, when I tried out this act. What keeps me wondering is that even today I really don’t know what inspired me to do such a dirty act because I didn’t have a phone by then. I just found myself playing with my private parts not even knowing what I was doing, but because I was young, nothing happened. It was the year 2022 to 2024 when I experienced the full measure of this spirit. I tried to avoid the internet and anything that could trigger the urge. I would manage to do that for maybe one to the maximum of three months, but before I knew it, I was back again for a few days, then I fought again. The cycle continued until I met God’s Heart TV. This really affected my spiritual life in the sense that I couldn’t read my Bible and pray. I saw my worship as though it was in vain; I deemed myself a sinner whom the Lord cannot hear – a conscious sinner.
“It got worse when I said to myself, ‘It is like I am playing games with Jesus.’ Every time I came before Him, I asked for forgiveness for the same thing repeating, not knowing that it is the same spirit and it is continuing to torment me and keep me further away from the Creator. People of God, child of God: When you do wrong, don’t run from God; run to God. He is a caring Father. It was really hurting me when I read the Scriptures and realised that because of this immoral sexual act, I won’t inherit the Kingdom of God, but I failed to help myself out. I had an internal fight; I may name it that way. Glory be to God, I came across God’s Heart TV led by Brother Chris. In October 2024, I took the step of faith and sent a prayer request mainly about a job breakthrough and other challenges, including this shameful act, and I was invited for prayer on November 2, 2024.
“Lo and behold, the Lord helped me to break free out of the spirit. It is now close to a year enjoying the freedom and discretion the Lord gave me. During the prayer, I was full of emotions as Brother Chris was praying; each word he uttered was meant for me. I would like to note that after prayer I felt so forgiven and alive again after so many months, and I knew God had given me a new lease of life. To God be the glory, I could now pray and even read my Bible with much more understanding than before. My dream life also changed from bad dreams to good dreams.
“I would like to encourage the people of God to share their testimonies. Even if some of the other requests are not yet answered, it is important to share what the Lord has done for you. It may seem to be little because you are still facing pressing issues, but take courage from the ten lepers whom Jesus healed and only one came to say thank you to Jesus. He was blessed even more because of acknowledging and thanking Jesus as his Healer. All the other nine went away with only healing, of which I doubt they managed to maintain because it is a sign that they cared less about the relationship with Jesus. Let’s share the good works of God to bring glory back to Him; that’s what He expects from us.”
