“Grace and peace to you in Jesus’ name. There is no one like Jehovah; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. My name is Refilwe from Botswana. I completed my studies in 2013, and since that time, I have been searching for a permanent job but could not secure one. I managed to attend a few interviews, but I was unsuccessful. I applied for jobs until I eventually stopped because I lost hope; this led to bitterness and frustration in my life. As a believer in Christ, I attended church services and received prayers from many servants of God. However, I still could not secure a job and I felt that my God had forsaken me. I felt I did not deserve unemployment after all the faith I had in God and the fasting and praying I had done for a job. I made the decision to stop applying for jobs because I was facing so much disappointment. I started a business, but it faced many setbacks and stagnation; eventually, I had to shut it down because the situation worsened.
“After the failure of my business, I decided to try once again and apply for a job. Last year around June 2024, I came across Brother Chris’ page on Facebook. I followed it and was astonished by the testimonies. I believed God and sent a prayer request. The first service I attended was in June, and since that time, I have never missed the Interactive Prayer Service. In August 2024, I started receiving calls from private companies and government ministries asking me to submit my certificates. In November 2024, I was employed by the government. I am now in a permanent and pensionable employment by God’s grace. God’s time is the best! After 11 years, I finally got a permanent job. My prayers of many years were not lost; God heard them and He answered. Isaiah 59:1 says, ‘Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear.’ Thank You, Jesus Christ.”
