“My name is Gina from Germany. In 2023, I was pregnant and diagnosed with complete placenta previa. Throughout the pregnancy, I suffered from bleeding, which grew worse as the baby developed. At 25 weeks, I experienced serious bleeding and was hospitalised for a week. It was then that I decided to contact Brother Chris and join the Interactive Prayer Service. I joined the service on October 7 with faith that my problem would simply disappear. However, the very next day, my water broke at only 26 weeks. The doctors told me I would be admitted to the hospital until I reached 36 weeks. I was deeply disappointed, but to God be the glory, I received a phone call from Brother Chris that same day.
“He said something that did not seem to make sense at the time. He encouraged me by saying that after we pray, we do not tell God how to answer. Our part is to trust Him in everything. I had the faith that my condition would reverse and I would give birth naturally, but God had a better plan. Being admitted to the hospital turned out to be the biggest miracle and a blessing in disguise. The doctors had warned me to always stay within 10 minutes of a hospital because a heavy bleed could be fatal for both me and my son. By being in the hospital after the prayer, I had 24/7 care and a highly supportive medical team who knew my case perfectly.
“Finally, at 32 weeks, I experienced placental abruption in the middle of the night. It was incredibly painful and I lost a lot of blood, but because God had already placed me in the right place, the doctors rushed me into surgery and immediately delivered the baby. If I had not been living in the hospital, who knows what would have happened? My baby was born premature but very strong and healthy. From birth, he could breathe, eat, and maintain his temperature, even though he was two months early.
“If anyone sees my testimony, I want to remind you: as you pray in faith, do not lay out a plan for how God should answer. Sometimes God’s answer is to hide you in plain sight of the enemy. What seems like a problem may be God’s preservation – because your situation is not like others. Even if things seem to get tougher, keep the faith and know that God has already answered you! To Brother Chris, thank you so much for the prayer and encouragement you gave me when I was at my lowest. This is a lesson I will always share wherever I go. May God continue to increase you.”
