Grace and peace to you all in the name of Jesus Christ. I am Annie from Zambia. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Verse 11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
I am a mother who is so happy over my first-born son, who was picked for a 100% bursary. My son completed his secondary level of education in 2023 with good results, but he failed to go to university because I could not afford it. In 2024, he applied for bursaries at different universities but to no avail. He tried again, but he was not picked, even though some of his friends from school were successful. This brought depression to him. He avoided me and could stay for days without talking to me, which brought a lot of bad thoughts to me as a mother. In October 2025, things worsened. When I tried to talk to him in a polite manner, the way he answered back made me go into the bedroom and start crying.
In November 2025, I submitted my prayer request to God’s Heart TV. Before I submitted it, I was inside my room telling God, ‘Lord, You gave me this child to take care of. I have failed to take him to school; open the doors so that he can go.’ After that, I felt at peace. I then submitted my prayer request to God’s Heart TV, not knowing that at that same time, he also submitted his own prayer request. The very day I submitted mine, the list came out of those who were picked for the 100% bursary. As I am writing now, my son reported to school on January 23, 2026. I am happy, and he is happy. What the devil wanted to take advantage of, God turned into joy. My advice to parents is that some situations will push you far from your children, but do not give up. Please let your situation draw you closer to God. God is indeed truthful and loving. God’s Heart TV has been my home since 2022, and I never go away from it because our good Lord has been using the entire team to help a lot of us come back to God.
