“Cordial greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. I am Joey from South Africa. Since 2010, I have worked as a medical manager at an alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre. My contract stipulated that I work five days a week with weekends off. However, there came a point where my section experienced a shortage of staff and I had to assist. This created significant difficulties for me in supervising employees because I was often off duty during the day or working night shifts, which was not part of my original contract. This affected me deeply and my workplace failed to provide me with necessary resources, such as a laptop or Wi-Fi, forcing me to use my own at home. I faced many accusations, misunderstandings, and a lack of resources, yet I was still expected to be productive while being unable to supervise my staff properly. This led to frequent disciplinary hearings. I was told that I would be demoted to a much lower rank. All of this happened just as I was due to receive my yearly salary bonus in September 2024, which I ultimately did not receive.
I began to seek God deeply until, one morning, I felt that God told me to leave that workplace. I found peace and left the job. For two months after I left, my documents were not processed at all. It was only in the third month that this was finally completed. Being unemployed made things very hard financially. I struggled for resources and my applications for other jobs were rejected. I could not pay my bills, and one of my cars was repossessed. A week ago, inspired by the Holy Spirit, I began to volunteer at an orphanage, bathing and feeding the children. I saw the mighty hand of God through the God’s Heart TV prayers, and I also played my part by living in God’s Word and meditating. On March 13, 2026, at around 16:15, I received a job offer for a position I had never even applied for. I began my orientation on March 14, 2026, and on March 16, 2026, I started working five days a week.”
