Good morning Brother Chris, God’s Heart TV family and people of God. We are Tofara and Viwe from Zimbabwe and South Africa. We would like to thank God and testify to what He has done in our lives. God’s timing is best and He has surely done it for us. My now-wife and I had been intending to get married for a while; however, we kept facing challenges and resistance beyond our normal comprehension. We faced financial and life pressures, as well as challenges we could not understand. My wife and I are from different countries, and because of this, there were financial pressures as I had to bring my family to her country and meet her family so that the dowry (lobola) could be paid, allowing us to celebrate the coming together of two families along with our marriage. The financial implications of this were high and costly, and we had little to no resources. At some point, this caused friction between us, and we momentarily thought it was not going to happen. It was challenging to see a way forward. However, we had hope in God that Jesus Christ would see us through to the end. I knew of Brother Chris from his time of service for God at SCOAN & Emmanuel TV, so I got connected to God’s Heart TV because I really wanted to see life clearly for myself, my fiancée, and our future.
We started attending the God’s Heart TV Marriage Seminars, sending our prayer requests, and attending the online Interactive Prayer Services we were invited to, praying to God along with Brother Chris. Over and above this, we played the 24/7 prayers on God’s Heart TV’s YouTube channel throughout. I also slept with the prayers playing, praying along as well. I continually read the daily testimonies that are posted on the WhatsApp channel about how God did it for others, and I read these to my fiancée. I remember one testimony which struck me of a lady from Zambia who went through similar circumstances, and God opened and paved the way for her wedding even though they did not have resources in the beginning. God made it happen for her, and the wedding was bigger than she could imagine. This helped in elevating our faith in God and our belief that Jesus Christ knows us by name, knows our hearts’ desires, and that He will lead us through as He has done before for others. People of God, that which God has destined will always see the light of day and come to pass. We faced challenges along the way, but that did not faze us and we continued praying, believing in God that He would carry us through in the name of Jesus Christ.
By God’s grace, mercy and favour, everything started to align. The financial resources became available. God brought and blessed the right people in our lives to make the wedding day possible. The wedding was much bigger than what we had planned for or even anticipated. Our family members came together and all the resistance just vanished. There was so much love, joy and peace. The ceremony was incredibly beautiful. God gave us the most sought-after décor person, whom you usually have to schedule months ahead of time, and we got their services at a discounted rate on short notice! People of God, God did not forget us indeed. He is indeed faithful and merciful. He gave us our hearts’ desires. To this very day, my wife and I are still amazed by how God orchestrated everything. To add to this, my wife received a salary raise and a bonus in the same month that we got married. There is so much love and peace in our marriage and it can only be God. Praise be to God! We are still in amazement of how God works and we just want to give glory to the Lord Almighty, thank Him, and praise Him for the wonders and blessings that He is doing in our lives, marriage, and family.
To add to this, after our wedding, Prophet Racine and Sister Ruth were having a conference in Johannesburg, South Africa. I believed strongly and had a conviction in my heart that my wife and I had to be there, for that is where we would have a physical encounter with Jesus Christ. Praise be to God, we had an encounter with Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 9, 2026! I got delivered and Jesus Christ visited our home. I was delivered that day, praise be to God! I remember watching a video of Brother Chris encouraging us to attend and stating that we must hold on to our deliverance and not doubt. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed! Our testimony is so long that we could write a book! We want to acknowledge what God has done in our lives, in our marriage, and in our family. We cannot keep this to ourselves. We have to acknowledge God, give all the glory and recognition to God, and none to ourselves, for this was the Lord’s doing. As the Word of God says, we overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Our word of advice: put all your trust in the Lord Almighty and wait upon the Lord; in due season, God will make it happen.
