My name is Lizzy from South Africa. Oh, glory to God! God has been so marvellous in my life, and in the lives of my children and my marriage. My husband was working 321 km away from home as a result of redeployments and management changes, and then the post he held was closed. Some of his colleagues at the time took their redundancy packages and some started businesses to avoid working far from their homes. Five years later, another restructuring happened in the company, which took him even further away – 740 km away from home for another four years. This made it nine years of travelling and renting places away from home, which also cost us a lot of money. I was praying and writing prayer requests that he might work near home. He was so tired of travelling and even said he would appreciate it if he could just get that post 321 km from home.
During December 2025, when I switched my television on, I realised that the God’s Heart TV Special Service for 2026 had just started. I joined the prayer. During the prayer, Brother Chris encouraged us to write prayer requests and believe God for a miracle. My husband’s transfer to work in our home town was one of them, along with the request that he would finish his PhD qualification, as he had wanted to give up, saying it was not easy to study, work, and travel, besides the course itself being very difficult.
People of God, during March 2026, as I was sleeping, I had a vision early in the morning. I heard a conversation between him and a former colleague, and I saw him in the midst of kings; then, I started thanking God for my husband’s relocation. Simultaneously, he was on a phone call with his former colleague, who was telling him that he must consistently keep an eye on the vacancy advertisements because one of the staff members had got a job elsewhere. Furthermore, the company was recommending the post to someone who was willing to stay in the city permanently.
He applied and patiently waited, and we prayed. During the time he waited after the interviews, he was also in the final stage of his PhD qualification. It was very hard for me as a wife raising children alone, with my husband being the breadwinner. But God is so faithful and merciful to us. Glory be to God, my husband got a job 2.5 km away from home (he can walk to work if he wants) and started in May 2026. He also completed his PhD qualification and graduated in April 2026.
