“Grace and peace to you in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. My name is Nelson. I want to share a wonderful testimony of what the Lord has done for me and my family through the prayers of God’s Heart TV Ministry.
My wife and I were preparing for the celebration of our marriage and wanted my parents to travel from Nigeria to join us in the UK. Their first visitor visa applications were refused on July 10, 2026. It was disappointing, but we were not discouraged. We addressed the concerns and submitted second applications with further explanations and supporting documents. However, we received another devastating outcome: My mother’s second application was refused on July 29, 2026, and my father’s on July 30, 2026. This was even more discouraging than the first refusals because we genuinely felt we had addressed the issues raised and provided the necessary evidence.
By the time of the Interactive Prayer Service on August 1, 2026, my heart was very heavy. Nevertheless, I joined the prayer, trusting that I was coming into the presence of the Lord and believing that He would give me peace and show me what to do next. During the service, a gentleman gave several testimonies. One in particular immediately caught my attention. He spoke about a sponsorship application that had been refused twice but was eventually approved following an appeal, and he received the full sponsorship. As I listened, something within me strongly connected his testimony to my parents’ situation. I felt in my spirit that what I was hearing was also a word of encouragement for me. I claimed the testimony by faith, and from that moment the heaviness in my heart began to lift.
So I prepared a third, fresh application for each of my parents. I again contacted the God’s Heart TV team to join me in prayer, and I also went into three days of fasting and prayer. I received a response through the ministry’s WhatsApp line containing just one word: Amen. That simple response greatly strengthened my faith.
There had been no material change in my parents’ circumstances; we presented their case again with the relevant evidence and clearer explanations and submitted the fresh applications. On August 14, 2026, both applications were granted. We were overjoyed. My parents travelled to the UK and entered on August 15, 2026.
That experience greatly strengthened my faith. It taught me a valuable personal lesson: after doing everything I reasonably can, I must still trust what God has placed in my spirit rather than allowing what I can see or understand naturally to determine the limit of my faith.
Today, my parents have visited us, celebrated this special occasion with our family, and returned home safely. I give all the glory to God for what He has done for us, and I am deeply grateful for the prayers and support of God’s Heart TV Ministry.
My wife would like to share her testimony and thank God for using His servant to pray for her. For over a decade, she dealt with a deeply uncomfortable and private issue with discharge. It was so personal that she never even told her mother; she first noticed it as a teenager before she turned 19, and she is now 32. Despite numerous doctor visits, swabs, and prescription creams the issue never went away. However, since receiving prayer from Brother Chris, the unusual discharge has completely stopped. We thank God for what He is doing through His servant, Brother Chris.”
