I PRAYED ON BEHALF OF MY FRIEND!
“My name is Lee from Zambia. At the start of the year, a friend of mine lost her job, and I watched how badly being unemployed took a hold of her. She had days when she was okay, but most days she struggled with depression and heavy thoughts. She prayed earnestly for a breakthrough, for God’s blessing, and for another job while dealing with everything she was going through. I stood by her side, encouraging her and praying with her from time to time.
Then I came across God’s Heart TV and decided to join the Interactive Prayer Service held on July 4, 2025. During the prayer, I wanted to have a picture of my friend, my brother, and another friend with me because they were also in the same situation. I didn’t have their pictures. But Brother Chris said that if the people we were praying for weren’t physically present, or if we didn’t have their pictures, we could simply have them in our minds and hold them in our hearts as we prayed. So I did exactly that, and we prayed for a breakthrough.
After the prayer, I went back to my friend and told her, ‘Don’t worry. I have just attended a prayer meeting, and everything is going to be fine.’
As she was preparing to travel back home from her sister’s place, she received a phone call telling her that she should attend interviews on Monday. She went for the interviews, and about a week later, she received the response that she had gotten the job.
She had been recommended by one of her lecturers, and the opportunity turned out to be everything she had been hoping for. She didn’t only want to work as a journalist; she had also always wanted to work as a Social Media Manager. Today, she is working as a Social Media Manager for one of the big companies in Zambia, and she is excelling in her role. As I write this, this is her second month of work. This has truly been a testimony of God’s faithfulness and an answer to prayer. Glory be to God!”
