“Grace and peace to you all! My name is Victoria, and I am from New Zealand. I am here once again to testify about what the Lord has done for me through the God’s Heart TV ministry.
In 2024, while in my final year of study, I prayed and asked the Lord to bless me with a part-time job so that I could earn some extra money while completing my bachelor’s degree. After attending an Interactive Prayer Service with Brother Chris, God answered my prayer, and I started working in February 2024. My plan was to continue working part-time while completing my studies and then look for full-time employment after graduation. The business I was working for was small, and everyone, including my boss, worked part-time. Therefore, I knew I would not be able to stay there in the long term.
I graduated in December 2024 and began applying for full-time jobs. However, throughout 2025, I faced rejection after rejection. At first, I did not think much of it, but after six months of unsuccessful applications, I became increasingly worried and frustrated. Despite continuing to pray and fast, the year ended without a breakthrough. In 2026, despite my continued efforts to find full-time employment, things did not improve. One employer contacted me, only to ghost me. Another offered me just four hours of work per week for a position that had been advertised as full-time. I politely declined because I was already getting more hours at my existing part-time job.
Later, through a family friend, I was considered for another opportunity. An interview was even arranged online, but the interviewer never showed up. I waited for 45 minutes and followed up by email, but I received no response. By that point, I was emotionally exhausted. I told the Lord that I was tired of the rejections and the tears, and I decided to take a break from applying for jobs. Nevertheless, I continued praying and trusting Him to make a way for me.
A few weeks ago, I came across a testimony shared by God’s Heart TV about a young woman from Papua New Guinea who had experienced job rejections after graduation but received her breakthrough after attending an Interactive Prayer Service. Her testimony encouraged me to start applying for jobs again, but the fear of facing more rejection held me back. About a week later, the same testimony appeared on my Facebook feed again. Once more, I felt encouraged. This time, I decided to attend an Interactive Prayer Service before resuming my job search because I wanted the Lord’s favour to go before me. I attended the Interactive Prayer Service on October 3, 2026.
That night, I had a dream in which my uncle was offered a job, but I was rejected. When I woke up, I was confused because my uncle already had a full-time job, and, as far as I knew, he was not planning to resign from his current position. So, I rebuked the dream, not because my uncle had received a job offer, but because I had also experienced rejection in the dream. Little did I know that the dream would manifest differently in reality.
A few days later, while browsing a job-seeking app, I came across two positions that interested me. I immediately applied for one but hesitated to apply for the other because I did not think I would be considered. However, the next day, I could not stop thinking about the second position, so I decided to apply as soon as I got home. Less than a week later, I received a response from the very employer I had hesitated to apply to! They invited me for an interview.
On the morning of the interview, I prayed and asked God to go before me and grant me favour. I also asked God if my new age would come with a blessing, as I had celebrated my birthday just a few weeks earlier, in September. The interview went well, and six days later, I received the news I had been waiting for. I had been offered a full-time job!
After nearly two years of waiting, disappointment, and rejection, the Lord had opened a new chapter in my life. The journey was uncomfortable and, at times, painful. Yet, through it all, God was with me.
My message to anyone going through a similar situation is this: keep trusting God. You do not have to understand the process to trust the One who is in control. Even when nothing makes sense, keep your faith in God. His timing is perfect, and we may not always understand His plans, but we can trust that He knows what is best for us.
Looking back, I am grateful that God sustained me through every disappointment and gave me the strength to keep trusting Him, even when I felt discouraged. My journey reminded me that rejection does not mean God has forgotten us, and a delay does not mean He will never make a way. To God be all the glory for what He has done in my life!”
