“Grace and peace to you, people of God. My name is Carlos from South Africa. I would like to share my testimony of how God delivered me from watching pornography and masturbation. It started as something I thought I could control until I was in bondage. Truly, I was suffering and trying to stop until I discovered Brother Chris and God’s Heart TV on Facebook. I sent a prayer request and I received an invitation to join the service in April 2025. Brother Chris prayed for us, and I was free from all the urges and I felt free. I still had dreams where I was still engaging in masturbation and watching pornography, and I kept sending prayer requests regarding this until I realised that the type of music and movies I was feeding on were the fuel to all these dreams. The Lord enabled me to make adjustments and changes, and, glory to God, all the nightmares are gone. I thank God for Brother Chris and all his encouragement because through it I was able to overcome.
I also want to thank God for delivering me from unforgiveness. I had a long-standing grudge against a family member. This was something I harboured in my heart, and I had actually told myself that I didn’t care, but in my heart, I had a grudge and unforgiveness. While I was praying during an Interactive Prayer Service this year, 2026, I had a dream where I was told that, though forgiveness does not always mean reconciliation, I still needed to forgive. We connected to the Interactive Prayer Service last month with Brother Chris. Brother Gary preached that day about Nebuchadnezzar, and I realised that, just like Nebuchadnezzar, I had put too much expectation on the person, forgetting that he was also a human being just like me and no one is perfect. During the service, I actually committed this to God while Brother Chris was praying. Afterwards, I actually knew I was free. So, I thank God for Brother Chris and the God’s Heart TV team for the work you are doing.”
