“Grace and peace to you all. My name is Lydia from Namibia. I’m writing to testify to the goodness of God in my life, especially my academics and spiritual life. I was experiencing failure and disappointment in my academics and my spiritual life was just lukewarm. In 2022, I failed mathematics and physics in my grade 11 but managed to qualify in three subjects for grade 12 (chemistry, biology and english) and I proceeded to grade 12 in 2024 with those 3 subjects. From those three subjects in grade 12, I failed two and passed 1, which really disappointed me and made me question my intellect. I tried to apply to institutions of higher learning but I didn’t qualify for the course I wanted to apply for due to the bad grades.

“I discovered God’s Heart TV in 2023 from my aunt, although I was not really an active participant. I just viewed for a while and never really participated in the Interactive Prayers. Last year, I decided to fix my mathematics and physics because the course I wanted to study required me to have at least a B grade in mathematics. During that year, I decided to write a prayer request to God’s Heart TV for a breakthrough in my academics. Gradually, I started becoming a frequent participant during Interactive Prayers and listening to sermons from Brother Chris. My spiritual life was elevated and I started reading the Bible more, meditating on the Word and always trying to seek first God’s Kingdom. I even became more focused in my studies, understanding most of the things that were being taught.

“In September 2024, I applied to a university in my country with those bad grades just to secure a space for me, so I could make an appeal while waiting for these better grades. Fast forward to 2025, I received an email that I had not been admitted for the course I wanted to study – but I had faith in my heart and peace of mind because the results were not released yet. On January 14, 2025, I received my results and to the glory of God, I passed mathematics and physics with Bs in both subjects. In that same month, I went for an appeal at the university. Although I qualified for my first choice, I was told that the selection for the course has already been done in the previous year so I could only get admission for my second choice.

“I was a bit frustrated because I had qualified for my first choice but didn’t get accepted, so I just went for my second choice. By the grace of God, as I was preparing to start with my academic year, God brought back to remembrance the message Brother Chris gave for the new year, with one of the prayer points that he gave us – “If you are not where God wants you to be, if you’re not doing a job in line with your calling, destiny, pray that 2025 would be a year of relocation – from where you are to where God wants you to be.”

“That prayer really encouraged me as I was going to attend classes. So, I continued to study my second choice as it was in Brother Chris’ prayer points for 2025 that ‘in everything we do, we should do it with excellence.’ Gradually, I started enjoying the course and understanding it better, and I now know that it aligns with what God has destined for me. I have been listening to the prayers that Brother Chris prayed for the students and as I studied as if everything depended on me and prayed as if everything depended on God, I passed my semester modules and qualified for the semester exams. I only had one exam-based module for this semester which went great. During this semester we had to apply for NSFAF student funds loan, which helps student with tuition funds, and on June 6, 2025, I received my award letter for the loan. I thank God for the life of Brother Chris for allowing God to use him to change lives. My encouragement for the students is – study as if everything depends on you and pray as if everything depends on God. Thank You, Jesus!”
