“Grace and peace to you all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. My name is Dorcas from Botswana. I came across God’s Heart TV December 2023 and I’ve been following it consistently from that time up to now. So, it happened that in the month of July this year, I was attacked by evil thoughts, suicidal thoughts, thoughts of shedding blood, killing and nightmares. I started praying about it, engaging in fasting, declaring the Word of God and even taking the holy communion, asking God to have mercy on me. I’m staying with my husband and we are only two in the house. These thoughts would tell me to kill my husband. They would tell me to take a knife and stab him, to shed his blood and sacrifice him for them. Sometimes, they would tell me to open the gas cylinder and light the matches when my husband was asleep, lock him inside the house and run away with the keys. It seemed like the more I prayed about this situation, the more it got worse. That’s when I realised I can’t handle it alone.
“On July 26, I sent a prayer request to God’s Heart TV and they replied immediately with an invitation to the August Interactive Prayer. On the Saturday of the Interactive Prayer Service, I managed to join the service through Zoom, even though there were some challenges with my connection, and Brother Chris prayed for all of us. The same night after the Interactive Prayer when I was asleep, I had a dream of six men who came and surrounded me. One of them said, ‘Let’s kill her and get rid of her because she is disturbing our kingdom’. Then I called the name of Jesus Christ about three times. The third time I said, ‘Jesus’ they ran away and never came back. When I woke up, I knew that I was delivered – but the situation with these evil thoughts continued. Regardless of what I was going through, I forced myself to keep on thanking God because of the dream that I had after the Interactive Prayer Service. I kept on reminding myself of the victory I saw in the dream and thanked God. On August 13 in the evening, I was privileged to receive a call from God’s Heart TV. Brother Chris encouraged me and prayed for me through the phone – and that was the end of that situation! Ever since that time, I have never experienced such thoughts again. I am totally delivered by God’s grace and I give Him all the glory. I thank Brother Chris for availing himself to be used by God to pray for us.
