“Grace and peace to you, Brother Chris and the God’s Heart TV family. My name is Maurice, and I am from South Africa. I want to thank God and express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your prayers. During July 2025, I attended the Interactive Prayer Service with Brother Chris with a petition for upliftment in my spiritual life. I was always doubting my faith and following my feelings instead of the faith that comes from God. I thought the Holy Spirit was not with me because of my past experiences. This thought was eating me up inside. On 13 August 2025, God proved that His Spirit is with me by rescuing me from robbers who came to my workplace at 9pm. They attacked me outside my boss’s house. There were five people who had covered their faces. One had a pistol, and another had a panga knife. When they attacked me, I shouted, ‘JESUS!’ My boss’s wife heard the voice, but she thought I was calling a dog, so she didn’t check outside. The robbers asked me to open the door for them to enter the house, but I told them that I didn’t have access to open the doors unless I knocked. They said, ‘Go and knock,’ and I told them that my boss has a gun and would shoot us. They said, ‘You’re lying, your boss is out; we saw him. There is only his wife there.’ At that time, his wife was in the kitchen because there were no curtains in the kitchen. I told them that my boss was not out; his brother was. After arguing with me for a while, by the grace of God, they gave up and said to me, ‘Run to your house,’ because my house is close to my boss’s house. Then they left in peace without even beating me. Nowadays, being in this situation in South Africa is automatically a death sentence, but I saw the hand of God rescuing me. From that day, I learned that I must stop following my feelings. God is with me, and I am alive today because He is with me. May God bless you, God’s Heart TV family, for standing with me in faith since I started praying with you through Zoom. God rescued me and my boss’s wife from death, and He can do it for you, my fellow followers of God’s Heart TV. All glory to God! Thank You, Jesus!”
