“Grace and peace to you all in Jesus’ name. My name is Mirriam from Zambia. My testimony goes like this. In 2021, I joined social media. At that point, I was not really serious in my relationship with God. I would just ‘find myself’ watching ungodly things, not knowing that I would soon fall into the same trap of the things which I was watching. One day, I heard a voice saying ‘Why don’t you try it?’ That’s how I began masturbating and watching pornography. I was in this bondage until April 2025. It was so serious that I would masturbate more than four times in a day. I discovered God’s Heart TV late in 2023 when I was scrolling through Facebook. I started watching the sermons from Brother Chris and reading the testimonies. Since that point, the lustful desire started going. My first testimony is that I stopped watching pornography. Since December 2023 until today, I have never watched it.  In fact, whenever I just think about it, I feel like vomiting or feel bad about myself. However, I found masturbation more difficult to deal with. I stopped watching pornography but I would find myself in the trap of masturbating once in a month and whenever I did this, I wouldn’t forgive myself and this would steal my peace.

“However, after joining the Interactive Prayer Service in April 2025, my life has never been the same! As I type this testimony, I can testify that since April, the urge to masturbate has disappeared completely. Also, I am no more wasting time on Facebook, TikTok and Instagram. Praise the Lord! I’ve found such encouragement and strength through the Interactive Prayer Services. Even when I am unable to attend live, I’ve replayed the service. God has used God’s Heart TV to bring about a significant change in me. Apart from being set free from the spirit of lust, the fear I once had is gone. I now feel free to move around school without the burdens I once carried. One of the key takeaways from the recent Encouragement Service with Brother Chris was the importance of apologising when we’ve offended others. Since then, I’ve made a conscious effort to say sorry to everyone I’ve hurt with my words. My encouragement to the viewers is to put your trust in God. What is impossible to us is possible with God!”
