“Grace and peace to you all, people of God. My name is Melinda from Zambia. I just want to testify to God’s goodness over my academics. God has made a way for me to complete my medical school journey with amazing results, and just in a few days, I’ve been able to get my medical practising licence in preparation for my internship. All thanks to God Almighty and the prayers from Brother Chris and the God’s Heart TV team. Thank you so much!
“I got to know about God’s Heart TV through my mother, Ms Joyce, who is a devout follower of Prophet TB Joshua and the way God was using him to change the world. She told me about the live Interactive Prayer Service and the submission of prayer requests to God’s Heart TV, and I would write a prayer request before every exam in my medical school journey, specifically in my sixth and seventh (final) years. As a student being sponsored by a single mother, there were moments where we didn’t know where my school fees would come from. We would pray the more, and God always came through. He always made a way; out of the blue, He would use family members unexpectedly to pitch in and help.
“My years in medical school weren’t the easiest. I battled failure, setback, and depression. I would have attacks of severe headaches and dizziness prior to and during exams, and this would affect my focus and concentration negatively. I would have dreams of going back to my former secondary school or childhood home. These things were a frequent occurrence, but after I started to pray with Brother Chris with all my heart and attended the live Interactive Prayer Service, my life has never been the same. The nightmares stopped, the attacks during exams stopped, and my focus and concentration was like never before, as if my mind had been renewed, and my love for medicine came back. Each exam I wrote from the sixth year, I passed with flying colours. It was clearly evident to me that My Father God was working upon my life.
“The depression and comparison went away – because before, I’d look at my friends who were a year ahead of me and think I was behind, and question whether I was cut out for this career as a doctor. I used to question whether I was smart enough, but God changed this false narrative. He opened my eyes, and through the teachings of Brother Chris, I got to learn that life is not a race and everyone’s journey is different, as well as learning to value my relationship with God above all else. People of God, my life has never been the same. God has changed it for the better. Here I am now, Dr Melinda Bwalya Kaniki, not by my power or intellect but by the grace and mercy of God. Praise be to God, now and forever, Amen!”
