“Grace and peace to you once again, brethren. My name is Khumo from Botswana. I am here to glorify God for what He is doing in my life through the ministry of God’s Heart TV. Last year, in September 2024, my marriage collapsed to the edge of divorce and my husband left our home. I sent a prayer request to God’s Heart TV for God to intervene in my marriage. I received a WhatsApp message saying Brother Chris would call me, so I received the call. Brother Chris told me that this was the time that I should seek the face of God more than ever. He prayed for me and encouraged me.
“Some time this year, Brother Chris called me again, and he asked me how I was, and what the state of my heart and my relationship with God was like. He continued to give me words of encouragement and prayed for me. It was not an easy road because we have small children who would ask me where daddy was, and I had to find a way to answer them. I held onto the Cross, taking part in every Interactive Prayer Service. In June, I received a sack letter from where I used to work. I felt like it was the end of the road, but I remembered the words of Prophet TB Joshua saying that to be a Christian does not exempt us from the challenges.
“I continued with praying and forgiving my husband and asking God to forgive me. In July, my husband started to communicate, sending us greetings messages. One day, he asked me if he could come back home so that we could work on our marriage; he asked for reconciliation. I wrote to God’s Heart TV telling them this good news. The day that my husband arrived home, I received a message from God’s Heart TV saying Brother Chris wanted to talk to me. That day, I connected with my husband, and Brother Chris counselled us and prayed for us.
“Since that day, in the middle of July, we are a happy family. My children are happy. Our relationship, between my husband and me, is as new as in our youth when we met. We give all the glory to God for restoring our marriage. Thank you, Brother Chris, for standing with us in prayers. Thank you, God’s Heart TV crew. Our relationship with God has grown so much. We pray together, reading the Bible together and sharing our everyday testimonies. Better is not good enough; the best is here to come in Jesus Christ.”
