“Good morning and win today, God’s Heart TV. My name is Natasha from Zambia. I’m a fourth-year medical student. I want to testify to the goodness of the Lord. Firstly, it’s about my spiritual life. For the past two years, I had been struggling. I backslid when I came to university. I entered into a relationship that didn’t have the foundation of God’s Word. I found myself not praying as often and not studying the Word as I used to. I felt so empty within me, and my academic performance dropped, from being an A+ student to getting C’s. I even reached a point last year where I got a D+. This frustrated me, and I knew something was not right. I sat for a supplementary exam and just managed to clear it, but at the same time, I was going through a heartbreak. I was filled with bitterness and said I would never forgive that person.
“I discovered God’s Heart TV online and started joining the Interactive Prayer Services. I began listening to the sermons and Brother Chris would often emphasise on the importance of forgiveness. During prayer, I would say I had forgiven, but afterwards, I would still feel the pain, and I knew I hadn’t truly forgiven. Then, during one Interactive Prayer, God really touched my heart and after the session, I texted the person and told them, ‘I have forgiven you’. Immediately, I felt lighter. From that day, I have had peace within me and joy. God showed me that He was saving me from a sinful life – something that could have snatched me away from His grace. Now I study without stress, and even though I haven’t seen my results yet, I know that I have improved. May God bless Brother Chris and the entire team for allowing themselves to be used for His work. My advice to everyone is that Jesus is in the boat. In the midst of the storm, let us not throw away our faith – let us hold onto it. Certain situations may look like disadvantages to our eyes, but when we open our eyes of faith, we will see that God has allowed them for our advantage. Amen!”
