“Good morning. Grace and peace to you. My name is Mary and I’m currently based in USA. I would like to testify to the goodness of the Lord. Last year, I carried a lot of fear and anxiety. With the new U.S. administration, there was so much uncertainty around international travel. Even people at my university and other institutions were saying that, despite having the correct documents, re-entry might still be a problem. As someone on a student visa, just one year away from completing my PhD in Civil Engineering, that uncertainty was terrifying – especially because my (now) husband had proposed in 2024, and we planned to travel to my country so our families could meet and begin our marriage proceedings. We prayed constantly, believing God’s favour would go before me – that I would return to the U.S. without issues, both to finish my studies and to be with my husband, who is an American citizen living here. We sent our prayer request to God’s Heart TV. By God’s grace, we spoke and prayed with Brother Chris, who took time to encourage us as soon-to-be newlyweds and reminded us to live in a way that pleases God and to be obedient to His Word.

“And truly, we have seen God’s grace. We travelled to and from Zambia safely. Our families connected with so much peace and love. The wedding celebrations were beautiful, and God provided more than we needed for the wedding. Another testimony occurred when my husband and I moved into our apartment. By God’s favour, we bought furniture valued at approximately $5,000 for only $400. A couple in our town in New Jersey was relocating across the country and wanted to sell their almost-new items at an affordable price. Also, after my wedding and returning to the U.S., I completed a three-month internship at a firm in NYC and was offered (and accepted) a job to start after I finish my PhD in June 2026. On top of that, I applied for my green card in August and it was approved in early November – just under three months! A process that normally takes one to two years took less than three months. This is all God’s doing, and it is truly marvellous in our eyes. This time has drawn me closer to God. During all that anxiety, I had to pray, read His Word, and fully trust Him. And I have indeed seen God’s faithfulness. To God be all the glory!”
