The second group of beneficiaries of the God’s Heart TV Easter charity project were a group of 47 elderly and physically challenged people in Kenya living in extreme poverty. The aim was to provide tangible relief to the most vulnerable in this community through thoughtfully prepared care packages that would cover basic nutrition and hygiene products for a month. Those who were able to travel were gathered to hear the Word of God and given tea and a local dish ‘mandazi’ before receiving essentials such as maize flour, wheat flour, salad, tea, salt, matches, sugar and soap. Those who were unable to attend the gathering were visited at home and given their care bundles to demonstrate the incredible sacrificial love of God demonstrated at Calvary. We are grateful to our partners for reaching out in love and generosity this Easter.
