“Grace and peace to you all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. My name is David from Ghana. In my stages of growth and development as a child, I faced some unpleasant challenges which led me to question myself: Is God really aware of me? Does God really love me? I faced depression, hardship, and worries, and this eventually led to poor academic performance. I was a student nurse and there were a lot of challenges surrounding me which maximised my depression, hardship, and worries. This led to high blood pressure, and I was also diagnosed with a liver condition as the signs and symptoms started popping up. I could not learn effectively; I rushed to the hospital for confirmation, and they confirmed it and prescribed medication for me. According to them, these were lifelong drugs. I submitted my prayer request to Brother Chris and the God’s Heart TV team. People of God, distance is not a barrier; my problems started disappearing until they finally disappeared. That was last year. I kept submitting my prayer requests and praying together with Brother Chris and, by the grace of God, I am fine now. The depression, worries, and hardship are gone. I was able to learn and passed well in my final exams. I was praying for a Third Class to qualify me for my final exams, and surprisingly, I got a Second Class Upper when the results came out. I was overwhelmed for no tangible reason, but glory be to God. I was at home when one of the lecturers called me and said, ‘David, they want to register you for the next exams.’ I excused myself and informed my family that I would end my education at this level, as I want to work for God.
Since I started praying with God’s Heart TV, God has also revealed a lot of things to me; my Bible reading and prayer life have seen a significant change. I also battled with a spirit of anger and difficulties in forgiving those I knew I should, despite knowing the importance of forgiveness for myself. But glory be to God, that chain is broken now. Here I am, by the grace of God, laughing freely, dancing freely, and walking freely – it can only be God. My advice to everyone is to only believe and submit your prayer request; as He did it for others and me, He will do it for you also. Anytime you are in a situation which your mind cannot understand, rely on God.”
