“Greetings in Jesus Christ’s name. My name is Mahlatse from South Africa. I would like to glorify God through this testimony. In February 2026, I received a job offer from another institution, but I decided to negotiate the salary with them. A month passed; I followed up, and they simply said they would get back to me in due time. About two months then passed without feedback. I sent a prayer request to God’s Heart TV, entrusting the matter into God’s hands.
I joined the Interactive Prayer Service on April 4, 2026. After that, an idea came to me – and I believe it was the Holy Spirit’s prompting – to go and talk to my current head of department regarding the pending offer from the other institution. He advised me and encouraged me to pray, and also said he would take the matter to the Dean.
Within a week, I was given a salary counter-offer, with a better salary than what the other institution had offered. The process usually takes a long time; I have seen other colleagues wait three months for counter-offers, and sometimes they receive nothing at all. It can only be God and His divine intervention!
