“My name is Gilbert from Zambia. For most of my life, I lived with a feeling of being underachieved; I felt like I had failed God because of the life I lived. Although I grew up in a Christian home, my life was not the best example of a Christian. I was drinking and doing all kinds of things, and every time I did, I would feel distanced from God.
After completing university, I wanted to change my ways and live my life for the Lord Jesus Christ. Rather than just lying to myself, I wanted to develop a relationship with Jesus, but I kept finding myself doing things I did not want to do, such as drinking. Around this time last year, I woke up with neck and shoulder pain. At first, I thought perhaps it was due to a bad sleeping position from the night before and told myself it would go away soon. However, as time went by, the pain increased and it became a challenge to turn my neck or raise my right arm; I could not perform simple tasks for a long time.
During all of this, I began to cry to God to help me get my life in order – from the drinking and the bad habits of an immoral lifestyle to the pain in my neck. I continued seeking God, and from time to time, I would come across posts of sermons and testimonies from God’s Heart TV. One day, I decided to request to join the Interactive Prayer Service held on February 7, 2026.
The service was wonderful, and after a few days, I began to notice changes in my life. I found myself praying more and felt a peace of contentment; I no longer feel far away from God. I recently got a job, the urge to live an unholy life does not interest me anymore, and within a few days, the pain in my neck and shoulder was gone.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the God’s Heart TV team and Brother Chris for being available to be used by God. May God bless you. My encouragement to everyone is that we should involve God in everything. All the things we chase in life have little or no value without God’s Word and God’s guidance.”
