My name is Grace Antonnette from Namibia. I want to give all the glory to God for healing my ankle. In July 2025, I started experiencing severe pain and swelling in my ankle. The problem actually began many years earlier when I slipped in a bathroom shower and twisted my foot. At that time, I did not receive proper medical treatment, and the injury healed naturally in a deformed position. After about 25 years, the old injury resurfaced. One day, after taking a long walk without proper exercise shoes, I injured my ankle again and tore a ligament. From then on, my ankle became swollen and painful. Walking became difficult, and I struggled to do my daily chores. I could no longer accompany my son to school, and I found myself spending most of my time at home because of the pain. Even sleeping became difficult. I took pain medication, wore bandages, and used ankle supports, but nothing seemed to help. The pain continued to increase instead of getting better.
In December 2025, I decided to see an orthopaedic specialist. After reviewing my X-ray, he recommended that I undergo an MRI scan. When the MRI results came back, he diagnosed me with ankle synovitis and several other complications in my ankle joint. The doctor explained that my weight was also contributing to the problem because the pressure was not being distributed evenly on the damaged ankle. He gave me an injection, prescribed pain medication, and placed me in a moon boot. Although these treatments provided some relief, the pain never completely disappeared. The doctor told me that if the pain continued, surgery would be necessary to shave and realign the bones in my ankle joint.
Then, in January 2026, I had a dream. In the dream, Brother Chris was in a church setting. He came directly to me and prayed for my ankle. The following month, during an Interactive Prayer Service, I placed my leg, which was still in the moon boot, against the screen while Brother Chris prayed for people. A few days later, I received a phone call from Brother Chris, and he prayed for me personally. As he prayed, I felt what seemed like an electric shock move through my injured leg and then into the other leg. The sensation continued throughout the night. At that moment, I knew that God was touching and healing me.
From that day in February 2026 until now, I have not worn the moon boot again. I no longer take pain medication. I can walk freely, do my daily chores without difficulty, and live normally again. The pain and swelling are gone. Even today, whenever I join the Interactive Prayer Services, I still feel that same electric sensation in my body. I thank God with all my heart for what He has done for me. What doctors were preparing to treat through surgery, God healed by His power. Glory be to God, for He is my Healer!
