Glory be to God, Brother Chris and the God’s Heart TV team have returned from New Zealand. As God opened the door for Brother Chris to minister in New Zealand, He also made a way for the God’s Heart TV team to express God’s love in action in the nation of Samoa. Guided by a clear conviction that ministry and charity go hand in hand, God’s Heart TV team responded to the needs of 71 vulnerable children and 43 elderly members of the community who are housed and cared for by two amazing charities: Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG) and the Little Sisters of the Poor.
SVSG, which provides shelter and care for children and individuals affected by crime, received a wide range of essential supplies: groceries – such as chicken, flour, rice, cooking oil, sugar, onions, milk and noodles; hygiene products products such as shampoo, soap, toilet paper, nappies and toothpaste, and 70 complete stationery kits. The team also funded a new outdoor canopy to enhance the children’s play and dining area. In addition, SVSG was presented with 1,500 Samoan Tala (£490) to further support their work. The visit concluded with shared meals, fellowship and activities – strengthening community and demonstrating God’s love in a very practical way.

The second charity, the Little Sisters of the Poor, also received essential groceries for their elderly, including chicken, flour, rice, cooking oil, sugar, onions and milk – along with hygiene products and a cash gift of 1,500 Samoan Tala (£490). The God’s Heart TV team provided and a shared meal, complete with sandwiches, cupcakes and fresh fruit. The atmosphere was filled with smiles, hugs and joyful dancing as the celebration unfolded. Praise God for the opportunity to reach out and show God’s love in action!
