“Good morning to the God’s Heart TV team in Christ Jesus our Lord and our Saviour. My name is Mrs Chinyama from Zimbabwe. I want to thank you for the good work you are doing to bring light to those who are in darkness.
I have a testimony to share. I was stuck with my children. Things became difficult so that I could not manage to pay rent where I stay, and my landlord said I should leave as soon as possible because he wanted to give the house to agents. My husband is in a rural area; he went there to find a project to do so that we could survive. When he went there, things became worse and nothing progressed; he could not even find money to come back to town.
I planned to send a prayer request to God’s Heart TV, but I couldn’t because of a lack of money to buy Wi-Fi bundles. Poverty was haunting me, so I managed to buy WhatsApp bundles only. I started reading the testimonies of others and reading the encouraging messages which Brother Chris sent on WhatsApp. People of God, I asked all my relatives for money so that I could find another house to rent, but all was in vain. I cried to the Lord with Isaiah 54:4-6: “Do not be afraid, for your Maker is your husband.”
Reading the testimonies of others lifted my faith, and I continued praying. On August 31, 2025, my brother then phoned me and said, ‘I will give you the money.’ We were supposed to move out on September 1, 2025. That very week, my shop in town was closed by the city council because of expired licenses, and there was no money to renew them. So I told my children on the phone, ‘I got the money, so you should go and find a house to rent. We should move out today by evening. I can’t come home now; I am trying to talk with the city council people.’ On that very day, the electricity technicians came and disconnected the main meter, saying you should rewire the building. All these things happened to me alone. I told my children to pray while looking for a house (one child is 15, the other is 20).
To the glory of God, around 5:00 pm, they called me: ‘We got the house!’ I went back home and saw the house; to the glory of God, the house was very nice and had a borehole.
After we moved to the new house, the following week, schools were opening. Now, I managed to send a prayer request to God’s Heart TV, and I was able to connect to the Interactive Prayer Service on September 5, 2025. We decided to fast with my children that day because I was in need of money for my child to go back to school. She was not able to go to school without money because last term we did not manage to pay fees for her. I told my child to wear her uniform while we were on the live service.
People of God, my business had completely collapsed; all my customers did not remember me. But after that service, within an hour, I was called by a headmaster who used to give me jobs after two and a half years, and he said, ‘By Monday, I will send money; there are orders I need there in Harare.’ The children were starting school on the second day, Tuesday, and I managed to pay the balance of fees for my children.
