“Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, greetings! 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and Psalm 100:4 encourage us to “enter His gates with thanksgiving!” My name is Emmanuel from Zimbabwe and here is my testimony. Growing up, I lived a life of shame. My first unique bite of evil was when a fire in front of me mysteriously found its way to my back and I got burnt badly. Secondly, when I was due for grade seven exams in 1980, I woke up unable to walk to school. My mother carried me on her back and by His grace, I passed.
But the real drama of life started when I got married. My elder brother ran mental. We tried all we could but failed and he passed onto glory. A few months later, another brother who was a teacher began to run mental. This time we upped the search in the traditional world for that breakthrough but alas, it was not to be. He too passed onto glory. In 2013, my first daughter was mysteriously called home. Then followed my mother who fell sick with a mild stroke. It was battle after battle. All in all, it proved to us beyond doubt that the traditional world had no solution to our crisis and we began to seek the face of God. Prior to that, I believed that prayer is just one of those ‘practices’ or habits. When ‘push comes to shove’, we would go to traditional and modern medicine.
It was at a lodge in Botswana in 2012 that I discovered Emmanuel TV. Unbelievable stuff! God is good, all the time and I will praise Him for His mercy on me. Since then, I watched and prayed. If cash was my friend, I would have loved to visit The SCOAN but it was not to be. And then Prophet T.B. Joshua left us. Man of God, rest in power. In the meantime, challenges with my mother mounted. Hygienic issues trebled. My second child, born in 1999, was struggling to get through his university. Above that, he got involved with drugs and smoking. People of God, satan is a liar! I then discovered that my brother, Brother Chris, had started Interactive Prayers. Thank You, Jesus! But the question – where does one get the link? I asked God, and my prayer was answered in May 2023 when I attended the Interactive Prayer Service on the phone with my wife. God is mysterious, brethren. I was expecting to manifest because I had suffered too much and thought I must be ‘infected’. However, it was not to be.
But brothers and sisters, since then, miracles and wonders are beginning!
1. My son has stopped smoking! He has reformed and passed his third semester in July 2023. He has gone back for the final year – absolutely reformed. Thank You, Jesus!
2. My mother – hygienic issues are a thing of the past. What a merciful God I serve!
3. My wife, who was declared diabetic in 2022 – her sugar levels are back to normal.
All praise to Him who is above and is above all! Brethren, the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua is alive and well! Surely by their fruits, we shall know them – as the prophet told us. Brother Chris, may God bless you! I am grateful. “I will praise Him for His mercy; I will praise Him for His kindness”. The message I have for others – have faith in Christ Jesus. He is trustworthy. In all that I have gone through, Psalm 66:12 gives me strength. I love You Jesus. May God bless Brother Chris and his family. Thank You, Jesus!”
