“Grace and peace to you all, brethren. My name is Mimi from South Sudan. I would love to thank God for His unfailing grace and mercy upon my life. I graduated in May 2022 but since then, I would only get short-term work contracts that were not renewed. Sometimes I got discouraged because I worked but it came to an end so fast. I was introduced to God’s Heart TV by an aunt, who is a friend to my mum, so I started joining the Interactive Prayer Services since September 2023 and receiving daily encouragements – which help me in my daily life. In April, I joined the Interactive Prayer Service and that day, Brother Chris specifically prayed for all those looking for employment. I prayed and waited on the Lord. An NGO that I had done an interview with earlier in January contacted me towards the end of April and to the glory of God, I now have a job with a continuous renewal of contract! I used to have negative thoughts but now they can’t control me. When they come, I rebuke them. I believe it is God who has done it for me and not my strength, so I share my testimony for the glory of God.
