“My name is Ottilie from Namibia. I’m 33 years of age but since I grew up, I hated my mother so much because of the way she treated me. She would even say that I was not her child and treated my younger sister better than me. Even when we were going to the school hostel, she would give my sister more money than me. After leaving our village to the town, I would just stay without calling my mother or her calling me. I stayed there for seven years without going home to visit. I even saw my mother as a witch and the cause of all the downfall in my life.
“I saw Brother Chris online, started following him on Facebook and watching testimonies of what God had done in the lives of people. Last year, I sent a prayer request but I failed to join the Interactive Prayer through Zoom. I sent another prayer request again in January this year and this time, I joined the Interactive Prayer Service. When the prayer ended, I started to feel peace in my heart. I started to think of going home. I started to have love for my mother. I called her and we started talking as mother and daughter. And on 5th April 2024, I travelled home to visit my mother. The way she treated me – it was wonderful! Thank You, Jesus Christ, for peace and mercy upon us.
