“My name is Jonathan from Germany and I would like to share a testimony. I heard about a Christian book about ‘supernatural childbirth’ and I bought it for my wife who was pregnant. She read it and believed she was going to have a supernatural pregnancy and birth, meaning a short, painless, easy labour. She recognised and meditated daily on the words in Isaiah 53:5 – “By His wounds we are healed” and accepted this promise for herself.
“As her due date approached, Brother Chris prayed for us and during the prayer the baby moved strangely like never before. Six days later, in the evening, just after we had put our other three children to bed, the contractions started, arriving every 2 minutes. We wanted to go to the hospital but there was no time, and when I realised that the baby would be born at home, without a midwife or doctors, I was overcome with fear and panic for a moment. However, I quickly focused on Jesus and the certainty that He was with us and taking care of us! Immediately I felt an inner peace, courage and strength came over me to help and stand by my wife. Normally, I am not much help during childbirth as I get very weak and dizzy!
“The birth lasted only 30 minutes from the start of the first contraction until the baby was born and in my hands! My wife testifies that it was indeed a supernatural birth. Hallelujah! Thank You, Jesus, and thank you, Brother Chris, for your prayers! I encourage everyone to meditate on the Word of God and take hold of the promises He has given us and you will see miracles happen!”
