“My name is Merick from USA. As I was on Facebook, I saw people testify about what the Lord has done through His servant Brother Chris. I said to myself, ‘What am I waiting for? Let me request for prayer!’ I sent my prayer request via email and received a confirmation email, inviting me to join via Zoom to the Interactive Prayer Service on Saturday 4th May 2024. I was waiting in faith, preparing my heart for it that whole week. That Saturday, I was at work but joined anyway and we started by praising God and listening to people’s testimonies. The last person who testified before Brother Chris came out was a woman from South Africa who shared about the healing she received from her stomach issues that made her struggle eat some types of food. She also said she was struggling to sleep as she had to sleep on one side to prevent the backflow of her gas. I was amazed because she was talking about the very same problem I had! I went to the hospital, they put me to sleep and put a camera inside of my stomach to check what the problem was and they found a lot of gas. They gave me medicine to use, as well as recommending I avoid some of my favourite food. It was so hard to cook food but not be able to eat it – because I am a single father and normally cook for my kids.
“So, when that woman was testifying about her healing, I understood it was God who was preparing me to receive my own healing! After she finished testifying, it was time for prayer and Brother Chris prayed for us all. After the prayer finished, I was so different from that day! I went home after work and ate the food that I knew always brought pain – and I have never had pain again, until today! Hallelujah! I give God all the glory for what He has done for me and my family. They also received the same portion of healing, in Jesus’ mighty name.
